June 4th, 2024 : Awakening, Renewal, and Serendipity

Rather, it asks us to anticipate change, sudden and chaotic as it may be, for such changes cause old structures to crumble making space for new ones. The waterfall pouring out from the cup is symbolic of an abundance of feelings, perhaps a new intimate relationship or a heart-centered spiritual transformation. Let your thoughts today flow freely and purely like the waterfall in the Ace of Cups, shedding any negativity or bitterness. The new emotional course might seem overwhelming at first, but remember to embrace these new feelings. Warmth, empathy, compassion are all stepping stones to a fulfilling life.

Last but not least, the Wheel of Fortune makes its appearance, echoing the cycles of change introduced by The Tower. Yet, unlike the sudden upheaval The Tower can signify, the Wheel of Fortune’s changes are largely positive and unexpected. This card embodies the Stoic principle of amor fati, a love of fate: embracing the natural flow of life and recognizing that every event is part of a bigger cycle. Epictetus wisely noted, “Demand not that things happen as you wish; but wish them to happen as they do happen, and you will go on well.”

In all, today’s reading implores us to savor the unexpected turns of life, awaken emotions within us and embrace the cyclic flow of life events - all key elements of a stoic and fulfilling existence!
