Intuitive Awakening: Navigating through the Unexpected

Good morning everyone. Each tarot reading is as much a journey of discovery for me as it is for you. Today’s theme is Intuitive Awakening: Navigating through the Unexpected and the cards we drew this Wednesday, April 17th, 2024, are rich with potent symbolism.

Our first card today is the The Star. Traditionally synonymous with hope and spiritual insight, this card encourages us to look upwards and connect with our light within. Seneca once said,

“Difficulties strengthen the mind, as labor does the body”.

Remember that, like stars, we too can shine the brightest in times of darkness, illuminating our own path and potentially serving as lighthouses for others as well. This card asks us to embrace our individual luminosity and to remember that even the dimmest star shines with their own unique light.

The second card is Death, a card that stirs fear in many because of its title. However, in Tarot, the Death card is not about physical demise. It’s about transformation, change, and renewal. As with the closing of a chapter, making way for a new dawn. As Marcus Aurelius professed,

“The universe is transformation: life is opinion.”

Don’t shy away from the unfamiliar, for it often paves the way to growth. Embrace change, from the small to the transformative, with open arms. Metamorphosis, although daunting, can be an exquisite process.

Our final card, The Tower, symbolizes chaos, sudden change, and revelation. Many view this card with apprehension, but its latent message is one not afraid of upheaval in favor of renewal. Epictetus once uttered,

“He who laughs at himself never runs out of things to laugh at”.

Remember, life has its own rhythms, highs and lows. When towers (figuratively and literally), built on unstable foundations come crashing down, we are given the opportunity to rebuild sturdier, more resilient towers in their stead. The Tower invites us to humble ourselves, expect the unexpected, and harness the transformative energy it brings with it.

Today’s draw challenges us to embrace our intuitive awakening, navigate through the unexpected, and find opportunities amidst chaos. It is a powerful reminder that GROWTH, the essential part of our human journey, is not without its trials.
